Booking your band/performer:

  1. If you are a performer looking to play at Tommy’s Place, email tpprod@usc.edu with a link to your music. A Production Manager will respond within 2 weeks of your email.
  2. All performers at Tommy’s Place have volunteered to perform for free.  Because we are completely non-profit, we are unable to pay for artist accommodations (parking, drinks, dinner, etc.).  We do provide exposure to the USC community and 100% of merchandise sales! 

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have shows during summer recess (mid-May through late August), winter recess, or spring break. Please see our calendar for more specific dates.

Private Event Rentals:

Tommy’s Place is a great venue on campus to use for your private event! 
If you are interested in booking Tommy’s Place, please submit a reservation request.  A Tommy’s Place Production Manager will respond to your request within 2 weeks with pricing and date availability information. 

If Tommy’s Place does not fit the criteria your event needs, please contact the USC Scheduling Office to look into other spaces.

Booking FAQ:

Q. How much does Tommy’s Place pay performers?
A. Tommy’s Place is a non-profit venue so all performers volunteer for free.

Q. Can I sell merchandise at my show?
A. Yes! All performers are allowed to sell merchandise and keep 100% of the proceeds.  Our venue provides a merchandise table but the performer must provide their own merchandise clerk.

Q. How do I get to Tommy’s Place?
A. For directions and parking, please refer to Directions.

Q. What is capacity?
A. Capacity varies from 150 to 318 depending on the setup of the venue.

Q. Who is allowed to chill at Tommy’s Place?
A. Anyone! Tommy’s Place produced shows are free, all ages, and open to the public.

Q. Can I have food at my event?
A. Yes! All food will have to be approved in advance by USC Hospitality.

Q. Can I eat at Tommy’s Place?
A. Yes! Tommy’s Place is attached to Traditions Restaurant which serves a variety of foods and beverages. Must be 21+ to purchase alcoholic beverages.

Q. Can I film my event?
A. Yes… with proper approval from both Tommy’s Place and the USC Filming Office. The proper Filming Application must be filled out at least 2 weeks in advance.
