Production Manager
A Tommy’s Place Production Manager is responsible for working with all parties to produce free entertainment for the USC community 6 nights a week. Production Managers will work closely with talent, clients, technical staff, Traditions staff, the PR team, and other USC organizations. Tasks include booking talent, providing a working timeline for each event, and overseeing all aspects of each event. Day availability is required.
Talent Liaison
A Tommy’s Place Talent Liaison will essentially run the show night of. Talent Liaisons will work with talent, clients, technical staff, Traditions staff, the audience, security, the PR team, and Production Managers to make sure each night runs smoothly. Tasks include greeting and loading in talent, keeping the show on schedule, escorting talent to green rooms, and problem solving when necessary. Night and weekend availability required.
PR Team
We are looking for people who have great people skills, researching skills, and experience in social media, graphic design, and photography. Because we are such a new venue and the music industry is always changing, we are always looking for ways to improve our marketing techniques!
Audio Technician
Audio Technicians work under the direct supervision of the Performance Venues Technical Director and Stage Manager to set up, maintain, and operate audio for not only Tommy’s Place, but for multiple USC venues. Tasks include engineering audio for events ranging in complexity from lectures to complex musical acts. Don’t worry – we will train you! Night and weekend availability required.
Lighting Technician
Lighting Technicians work under the direct supervision of the Performance Venues Technical Director and Stage Manager to set up, maintain, focus, and operate lighting systems for not only Tommy’s Place, but for multiple USC venues. Tasks include programming lights for events ranging in complexity from lecture to complex musical acts. Don’t worry – we will train you! Night and weekend availability required.
