Tommy’s Place is looking for people with entrepreneurial attitudes who love music, and are dedicated and eager to become part of the Tommy’s Place family. Production Manager

A Tommy’s Place Production Manager is responsible for working with all parties to produce free entertainment for the USC community 3 nights a week. Production Managers will work closely with talent, clients, technical staff, Traditions staff, the PR team, and other USC organizations. Tasks include booking talent, providing a working timeline for each event, and overseeing all aspects of each event. Daytime availability is required.

House Manager

A Tommy’s Place House Manager will essentially run the show night of. Responsibilities include working directly with all parties to ensure a successful night. House Managers will work with talent, clients, technical staff, Traditions staff, the audience, security, the PR team, and Production Managers. Tasks include greeting and loading in talent, keeping the show on schedule, escorting talent to green rooms, and problem solving when necessary. Night and weekend availability required.

PR Team

Members of the PR team will create graphics for upcoming events in Tommy’s Place, update our social media outlets such as Facebook and Instagram, and market our events to the USC student body. We are looking for people who have experience in social media, graphic design (Adobe Suite), HTML, photography, and people skills. We are always looking for ways to improve our marketing techniques!

Audio Technician

Audio Technicians work under the direct supervision of the Trojan Events Technical Director and Stage Manager to set up, maintain, and operate audio for not only Tommy’s Place, but for multiple USC venues. Tasks include engineering audio for events ranging in complexity from lectures to full concerts. Don’t worry – we will train you! Night and weekend availability required.

Lighting Technician

Lighting Technicians work under the direct supervision of the Trojan Events Technical Director and Stage Manager to set up, maintain, focus, and operate lighting systems for not only Tommy’s Place, but for multiple USC venues. Tasks include programming lights for events ranging in complexity from lectures to full concerts. Don’t worry – we will train you! Night and weekend availability required.

Tommy’s Place Trivia Master

Our Trivia Masters are responsible for both researching/writing and presenting trivia questions for our weekly Tommy’s Trivia held every Wednesday Night. Questions cover subjects from science to pop culture and everything inbetween. Trivia Masters will work to secure sponsors for prizes for each week of Trivia. We’re looking for outgoing personalities who don’t mind being in front of a crowd, making friends, and have varied interests. Excel proficiency is a strong plus. Daytime and Wednesday night availability required.
